Avidity Science/ Harry Rowsell Masters Travel Fellowship Award

Given to a Master’s Exam candidate to help the winner to attend the oral portion of the Masters exam at the CALAS Annual Symposium. Learn more

Robert Young Travel Fellowship Award

Given to the technician who best demonstrates a sustained interest in improving his/her knowledge and expertise as well as that of others in laboratory animal science, to be used towards travel to the CALAS Annual Symposium. Learn more

The CALAS/ACSAL Travel Fellowship Award

Prize

Financial Award varies per chapter and is determined annually based on travel costs to the symposium from the local area. Awarded individuals also presenting a paper or poster at the Annual Symposium will receive free registration to the symposium.

Criteria

The criteria for the decision are at the discretion of the Chapter. The award gives Regional Chapters the opportunity to award a person that the Chapter deems worthy of special recognition and the second intent is to help someone get to the Annual Symposium who would not otherwise be able to attend due to insufficient funding.
