Animal Care HelperIf you have completed a post secondary program in a Veterinary Technician/Assistant or equivalent education and work experience consider one of these Animal Care Helper positions working with animals in a research environment.
Start date: Mid September.

Working 7 hours per day Monday - Friday / 35 hours per week. Salary $37,022 - 46,278
Duties would include daily animal health checks, visual cage inspections, daily room status reports, cage changing, cage washer duties and preparing cages and bottles for next day use. Ability to stand for long periods of time, ability to lift and move at least 50lbs and no known allergies to rodents. Successful candidates will be provided with additional on-line and hands-on training.
